Inspiration

Inspired By Aynhoe

Aynhoe Park is a grand, eccentric private country house set in 250 acres of Cotswolds countryside. A stately home full of surprises, stories and an exceptional interior.

It is such a magical venue filled with wonderful curiosities around every corner, and where myself and my then Fiancé David chose to get married in July 2018. It was the first & last venue we viewed; as soon as we walked into the front entrance hall we were wowed by the interior. Quirky cool objects with historic architectural details was the perfect mix for us, we are both creatives so what better place to get married. My husband is a techno music producer and there was an after hours underground club was the icing on the cake! The venue definitely delivered a wild wedding party along with the guests of course.

It’s all about the experience with Aynhoe, and we wanted our guests to share that experience. I love the old school formality of certain rooms in the house, and the extravagant modern touches mixed with classical details. James Perkins, the owner, has created a living wonderland of a museum with his personal collection of peculiar art, taxidermy and architectural details. I adore the way James has re-imagined a beautiful stately home into a fantasy for people to create their own story with Gerald the Giraffe, Hercules and drinking Leopard.

Who wouldn’t fall in love with Aynhoe?
