Inspiration

Inspired by Dubai

When I think of Dubai I think of; vibrant colour palettes, glamour, iconic buildings, indoor aquariums and a world of Luxury.

Five Palm Jumeriah market themselves as a “dare-to-be-different hotel”. The certainly changed my view on Dubai Interior Design.

Set on the trunk of Palm Jumeriah with a spectacular backdrop of Dubai Skyline, Beach and Sea. First impressions; Overwhelmed by the striking architecture, all guests enter through a 15m by 15m glass cube, the largest structure of its kind in the world. The instantaneous transparency frames views to the 60m infinity pool, Dubai Marina skyline and the ocean. It’s a piece of art in itself.

The rooms are designed with a light minimal colour palette with an elegant accent of teal and hints of brushed brass. I really enjoyed the fusion of Dubai spectacle, Scandinavian chic and Californian cool. Deep textures and rich fabrics feature through the guest bedrooms and then through the rest of the hotel and outdoor areas of the hotel.
